Katrina has been practicing as a podiatrist since graduation in 1992. She believes that effective patient-centred communication is key to quality podiatric care. In addition to her podiatry qualifications, Katrina has a special interest in diabetes and completed a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education in 2012. She also obtained her Masters in Health Science (Education) from the University of Sydney in 2010, and is currently completing her PhD in podiatry education at Bond University. Katrina is also an academic, with extensive experience in curriculum design and development, and has been serving in higher education for the last ten years.
