Northshore Foot Care was established by Katrina Reynolds in 1995, with a strong underlying philosophy of individual patient care and expert treatment.
“A podiatrist is a health care professional who deals with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions of the feet and lower limbs”.
Northshore Foot Care has a team of qualified and experienced practitioners, who are committed and encouraged in their pursuit of ongoing and continuing education to ensure each and every patient is provided with the very best level of care.

About Us
You do not normally need a referral to see a podiatrist here at Northshore Foot Care. However, you will require a GP referral if you are a Veteran’s Affairs patient or require services under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) arrangement.
We will happily work in conjunction with your health care team to support you in the day-to-day management of your foot health.
Northshore Foot Care also has both HICAPS and EFTPOS facilities for your convenience!

General Foot Care & Minor Nail Surgery
General foot care is important for all ages. General foot care services may include podiatric management of corns, callous, nail problems, tinea pedis, plantar warts, etc. Minor nail surgical procedures can also be performed for the treatment of an ingrown toenail.

Diabetes Foot Care
When you have diabetes you need to take care of your feet every day. Our services include vascular and neurological screening as well as diabetes-related education and related referral where required.

Biomechanical Assessment, Gait Analysis, Orthotic Therapy & Footwear Advice.
To assist with mobility complaints of all ages, our services include assessment and management of sports-related injury; balance problems in the elderly; children’s lower leg and foot concerns; and footwear education.
KatrinaReynolds
Katrina Reynolds – Principal, Senior Podiatrist & Educator
Katrina has been practicing as a podiatrist for 23 years. She believes that effective patient-centered communication is key to quality podiatric care. In addition to her podiatry qualifications, Katrina has a special interest in diabetes and completed a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education in 2012. She also obtained her Masters in Health Science (Education) from the University of Sydney in 2010, and is the Discipline Leader of the Bachelor of Podiatry Practice program at CQUniversity. Due to her University commitments, Katrina works on Saturdays by appointment
Soheyla Vatandoust – Senior Podiatrist
Soheyla has been practicing for 22 years. She obtained additional post-graduate certificate qualifications in podiatry from the University of South Australia in 2012. Soheyla enjoys working with patients of all ages and in providing all aspects of podiatry care. She presently works Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
OUR SUPPORT STAFF
Stephen Howe – Practice Manager & Allied Health Assistant
Stephen is our very experienced practice manager having joined the practice since its inception alongside his wife, Katrina. Originally from an Information Technology background with formal qualifications in this domain, Stephen has completed a degree in Applied Health at the University of New England and a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education at Deakin University. Stephen is also a qualified Allied Health Podiatry Assistant and Massage Therapist. He is presently completing a Masters of Podiatric Medicine at the University of Western Sydney.
